Bart Vinke, CEO

Bart has been leading the European Dental Group as its CEO since its inception in April 2018. Beforehand, Bart co-founded Dental Clinics Netherlands and led the quality-centric organization for 11 years until it became part of the European Dental Group in 2018. From 1989 to 2008 Bart worked as a dentist in a group practice in Zwolle, which ultimately became part of Dental Clinics Netherlands and is now one of the largest dental practices in the Netherlands.

Cor van Driel, CFO

Cor joined Dental Clinics Netherlands’ management team in 2013 and became CFO of European Dental Group in 2018. Previously he worked for over 12 years at KPMG Audit. He also was a member of the investment team at Twinning for four years and a managing partner at Indigo Corporate Finance for three years. In 2006 he founded Dutch Finance Group, an advisory firm supporting the health care industry. Cor studied Accountancy at Erasmus University Rotterdam and attended the post-master course Credit Rating Advisor for Accountants and Controllers at Nyenrode Business University.

Assaf Littner, Head of M&A and Business Development

Prior to joining EDG in 2019, Assaf was a Senior Vice President in the private equity team of Oaktree Capital Management. He spent over seven years at Oaktree investing across multiple sectors including healthcare and was responsible for Oaktree’s investment in the dental sector. Before that, he worked at McKinsey & Company and Gornitzky & Company as well as Veolia Environment. Besides an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, Assaf holds a BA in business administration (Summa Cum Laude) and a Bachelor of Law (Magna Cum Laude) from Tel Aviv University.

Judith Schoenmaeckers, COO

Judith joined EDG in January 2020 and has an extensive track record in the area of commercial & operational management. She started her career at KPN where she held  for 8 years various sales & marketing positions. After that she held several director positions at Telfort, Randstad Nederland, Mediq and Pepperminds. Judith has an extensive track record in change management in challenging markets and has a lot of experience in service oriented companies that put the customer first. Judith studied Industrial Engineering in Eindhoven and attended general management programs at Instead and Nyenrode Business University.

Shareholders

Nordic Capital holds the majority of the shares in EDG. For 25 years, Nordic Capital has been a frontrunner in European healthcare investments. Nordic Capital leverages its extensive experience in building high quality, sustainable healthcare businesses such as veterinary care provider AniCura and ophthalmology care provider Ober Scharrer Gruppe. Nordic Capital intends to continue the investment in EDG’s leading quality standards, best-in-class operating model and strong local brands. Other shareholders of EDG include the Company’s executive board and country managers.
