Are you a talented and motivated professional with a passion for data visualization and analytics and with a technical knowledge about storing and movement of data? We are seeking a skilled Power BI Developer / Analytical & data engineer to join our team and drive data-driven decision-making processes. In this role, you will not only be responsible for creating insightful and interactive dashboards but also contribute as an analytical & data engineer to uncover valuable insights from complex datasets and to build and maintain our data warehouse environment.

There are 2 colleagues in the EDG BI team (architecture, data analytics skills). In the Dutch organization (TMZ) there are 3 colleagues in the BI team, and we work with a few external consultants. You will all be working closely together. You will also be working with the various

European countries to set up reports with data that helps the company to identify, analyse and implement opportunities in the clinics and embedding a continuous improvement and learning environment that focuses on the needs of the customers and patients. Taks will be about 70% as BI developer and 30% as analytics & data engineer

You work for the EDG Competence Centre, location Hilversum, and will also work closely with the Finance team of EDG.

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports that provide clear and actionable insights to various stakeholders.
• Optimize dashboard performance and user experience to ensure seamless navigation and efficient data consumption.
• Apply your analytical expertise to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities within large and complex datasets.
• Develop advanced analytical models and algorithms to extract meaningful insights and predictive trends.
• Support and maintenance of the current Datawarehouse platform, and improve current implementation(s).
• Identify, analyse, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
• Support initiatives for data integrity and accuracy.
• Test and support implementation of new or upgraded software.
• Test and support implementation of updates to the data model.
• Troubleshoot the Datawarehouse environment to pinpoint data and reporting issues.
• Work closely with data engineers to ensure the availability, quality, and reliability of data sources required for analytical purposes.
• Communicate effectively with business stakeholders to understand their analytical requirements and provide solutions that align with their needs.
• Collaborate with the colleagues in the data team to create cohesive data pipelines and ensure consistent data flow from various sources to analytical platforms.

• Data analysis; ability to process and interpret data
• Technical knowledge; knowledge of data models and database design, experience with Power BI, Power Query, including the creation of interactive dashboards, custom visuals, and DAX calculations. Strong knowledge of querying languages (SQL) and ETL knowledge.
• Reporting; Ability to write comprehensive reports with a clear message and ability to translate 4solutions
• Analytical skills; An analytical mind with an inclination for problem-solving in order to gain meaning from large data sets
• Communication; ability to communicate effectively with different levels in the organization and effective in cross-cultural communication and fully comfortable working in English, both written and spoken.

• Languages: Fluent Dutch and English

• Minimum 7-10 years of relevant working experiences in the area of BI and data.
• Minimum 3 years of Power BI development experience
• Master or Bachelor degree in Supply Chain, Business, Mathematics, Economics, or related field (or relevant working experience).
• Working experiences within the Health Care sector (Dental), Retail sector and/or multi-site will be a pre.
